Meet your local guide and travel to Lao Chai Village, located in the spectacular Muong Hoa Valley. As you leave Sapa town, the scenery gradually changes from urban streets to mountain roads, green valleys and vast terraced rice fields.
08:30 – 12:00 | Trekking from Lao Chai to Ta Van – Approximately 10 km
Begin today's approximately 10 km trekking adventure through one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Sapa region. Follow mountain trails and village paths through the Muong Hoa Valley, surrounded by dramatic mountains and layers of terraced rice fields.
Along the route, you will pass through local villages, meet local residents and see traditional houses surrounded by the peaceful countryside. Your guide will explain the culture, traditions and daily life of the ethnic communities who have lived in these mountains for generations.
The trek is not simply a walk between two villages; it is an opportunity to experience Sapa at a slower pace, away from the main roads, while enjoying the changing scenery of the valley.

Please read this section before booking. Day 2 includes approximately 10 km of trekking. The route takes place on mountain trails, village paths, stone steps and uneven terrain. Some sections may be steep or slippery, especially after rain.
This part of the tour is recommended for travelers with a reasonable level of fitness who are comfortable walking for several hours. Please wear suitable trekking shoes and bring enough drinking water. If you prefer a relaxed sightseeing experience with minimal walking, this itinerary may not be suitable for you.
